2003 Established Matthew Heywood Limited

Matthew Heywood Limited is a Royal Institute of British Architects Chartered Practice working in on a wide range of projects from small pieces of bespoke furniture to larger commercial developments.

1996~2003  Future Systems

Seven years working with the international renowned design practice.

Appointed Associate Director in 2000.

Involved in the design and construction of over 40 projects.

1999~2003  Selfridges Birmingham

Project Architect on this £60 million department store. Managing a team of 6-12 people from detailed design to completion.

1996~1999  Media Centre at Lord’s Cricket Ground

Architect in a team of four, working from the initial design stages through to completion of the Stirling Prize winning building.

1994~1996  TP Bennett Partnership

Qualified as an Architect in 1995.
